Week 3-First Semester

Photo I
This week we are continuing pinhole photography and taking pictures with them all week. We are going to start scanning and converting them to positive images Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Pinhole cameras are fun and unpredictable. They can produce some very interesting pictures.

Assignment: This Friday students will be given their first shooting assignment. They should take pictures of textures and have film ready on next Monday to process.

Photo II & III
We are experimenting with the Mordancage process. This is a very unpredictable process that yields some amazing results. The first outside assignment is due this week and should be turned into the students' individual critique folders before the Friday critique.

Have a great week.
